When to Use This
Send this on your first day or the day before you start. Keep it to one short paragraph about your role and one personal detail. People remember the human stuff more than your resume.
What Not to Say
Don't write a novel about your career history or list every tool you know. Don't be overly stiff — "I look forward to leveraging synergies" will make people avoid you. And don't skip it entirely; silence reads as cold.
